THE WORD CENOTE COMES FROM THE MAYAN WORD DZONOT OR TS’ONOT, LITERALLY MEANING “CAVE WITH WATER”.

Cenotes in the Riviera Maya are created when the cave ceiling collapses exposing the ground water beneath, giving us a chance to enter and explore the amazing and ancient caverns and doing Cavern Diving for an unforgettable experience.

We will head into the jungle where the beautiful freshwater cenotes are located and make either 2 or 3 dives in the crystal clear water which has a steady year round water temp of 25c/75f.

There are Cenotes of different depths and characteristics making them a perfect environment for all experience levels.
